About the Job 

We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Software Development to lead and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that power Epicenter’s digital operations. In this role, you’ll oversee the design, development, and deployment of software products that support key business platforms, automation initiatives, and dialer systems. 
 
You’ll manage a small, agile technical team and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to turn complex business needs into smart, scalable, and secure applications. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. 
 

Location/Hours 

Location: Bhayandar, Mumbai 
Shift: Day (9-hour shift, 5 days a week) 
 

Job Responsibilities / Expectations 

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Dialer-based and web applications using PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter), Asterisk, Perl, Python, and MySQL. 
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs to connect internal tools, CRM systems, and third-party applications. 
  • Architect scalable, secure, and optimized software solutions that enhance business process efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with business and operations teams to translate requirements into actionable technical designs. 
  • Manage development timelines, code reviews, and deployments across multiple projects. 
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through adherence to coding standards, documentation, and QA processes. 
  • Provide technical mentorship and performance guidance to developers within the team. 
  • Work with Infrastructure, Database, and QA teams to manage releases and ensure system stability. 
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process automation and technology-driven improvement. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 7–10 years of experience in software and web application development. 
  • At least 2–3 years of experience leading or managing a technical development team. 
  • Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter), MySQL, Asterisk, Perl, and Python. 
  • Strong understanding of API integration, CRM systems, and IVR/Dialer frameworks. 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills. 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience in the BPM industry or with Dialer/Telephony systems. 
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business needs into scalable architecture. 
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end software delivery lifecycles.
