About the Job 

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a critical role in building, deploying, and optimizing AI/ML systems that support applications across the organization. You’ll work on real-time inference pipelines, LLM fine-tuning, intelligent automation, and natural language processing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering cutting-edge machine learning solutions that make a measurable impact.
 

Location/Hours 

Location: Mumbai
Shift: Night (6:30pm-3:30am)

Job Responsibilities / Expectations 

  • Lead the development of end-to-end machine learning solutions including data extraction, model training, inference, and deployment
  • Build and optimize scalable AI applications using tools such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and transformer-based models (BERT, Llama, GPT-4)
  • Implement multimodal systems including OCR, NLP, computer vision, and real-time conversational agents
  • Fine-tune LLMs using prompt engineering, custom datasets, and vector search (Pinecone, LangChain) to reduce hallucinations and boost model accuracy
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines for model versioning, automated deployment, and cost-aware infrastructure scaling
  • Construct and deploy cloud-based ML pipelines using Azure and GCP (Lambda, S3, BigQuery, Cloud Functions)
  • Integrate ML systems into full-stack applications (React, FastAPI), ensuring performance, security, and usability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
  • Document model architecture, data flows, and deployment procedures for ongoing support and audit purposes
  • Monitor and improve model performance, addressing issues like inference latency and prediction accuracy
  • Implement MLOps best practices for model lifecycle management
  • Stay current with latest developments in AI/ML and apply innovative techniques to solve business problems

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning systems
  • Proven experience with LLMs, computer vision, OCR, NLP, and MLOps
  • Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience with tools and platforms including HuggingFace, FastAPI, React, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Strong SQL and data engineering experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP)
  • Prior exposure to high-impact AI deployments in production environments
  • Strong understanding of machine learning theory, deep learning, and data processing pipelines
  • Demonstrated ability to reduce model hallucinations and improve inference latency
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex challenges

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to clearly explain ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and mentoring others in the AI/ML community
  • Experience with transformer architectures and state-of-the-art NLP models
  • Knowledge of distributed computing and large-scale data processing
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experiment design for ML models
  • Experience with model monitoring and observability tools
  • Understanding of ethical AI and responsible ML practices
  • Contributions to open-source ML projects or research publications
  • Experience in BPO/BPM or customer service automation applications
